The proverbial lightbulb went off when Konrad Alt and I met in mid-2024.


Solving and advising on complex challenges for banks, fintechs, payments companies, and the digital asset ecosystem is what Klaros does. That meeting sparked a shared conviction that solving institutional challenges ultimately comes down to people — their judgment, creativity, and execution.


In working side-by-side with clients navigating regulatory uncertainty or scaling for growth, we noticed a common thread: success wasn’t just about strategy or technology, but about leadership. Our clients needed executives who could bridge legacy systems and emerging innovation — leaders comfortable with ambiguity but grounded in governance and risk. Recognizing this, formalizing a talent advisory offering felt like a natural extension of our mission..


Our timing was good. The six months since Klaros Talent’s launch have been an incredibly dynamic time in financial services. The doors have opened for digital asset and stablecoin activities, fintechs are maturing into sustainable business models, and a “window” has appeared for bank charter opportunities amid shifting political and regulatory winds. This convergence has created both excitement and urgency — organizations are rethinking operating models, governance frameworks, and leadership benches in real time.
