Welcome, Lisa Arquette!

Lisa Arquette is the newest addition to Klaros’ Senior Advisor Class of 2026, and I couldn’t be happier to welcome her. Many thanks to Sepideh Rowland for connecting us.

Lisa’s background and expertise further enhance the Klaros team’s deep understanding of FDIC supervisory policy and practices. . Lisa was most recently Deputy Director of Operational Risk at the FDIC. In that role, she shaped national supervisory strategy, led interagency rulemaking, directed the team analyzing cyber events and responses, and led U.S. contributions to global AML/CFT and operational resilience standards through Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) expert groups. Previously, as an FDIC Associate Director, Lisa built and led multidisciplinary teams and guided the applications program for failed bank acquisitions, saving the Deposit Insurance Fund significant capital. She led the adoption of critical information-sharing agreements with FinCEN and OFAC and the development of a tailored examiner training program and risk assessment tool.

Lisa also served as the inaugural Chair of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) AML/CFT Subcommittee, overseeing the development of the FFIEC BSA/AML Examination Manual and key interagency statements.

You can catch up with Lisa, together with Klaros Senior Advisor Donna Murphy and Suzanne Williams talking with Kieran Beer on the recent ACAMS Financial Crime Matters podcast, “Fighting Money Laundering Past, Present and Future,” or reach her at Lisa@klaros.com.
