Welcome Poorani Jeyasekar and Susan Ehrlich

Just a month into 2022, it’s clear that we’re going to be busy and need to continue building our team. Accordingly, we’re excited to welcome two new members to the Klaros team - with more to come in the near future.

Poorani Jeyasekar joins us as a Director from change management consultancy Celerity, Inc. where she was a partner leading financial services. She is deeply knowledgeable in financial services, banking, and fintechs and an experienced practitioner of Six Sigma, trained in both agile and lean methodology. She’ll be applying that operational experience and knowledge to help Klaros clients scale their operations and technology as they acquire, buy, build, and partner with banks. Poorani is also passionate about figuring out how we can use design thinking and technology to increase financial inclusion and awareness. Her experience includes stints at the National Institutes of Health and Nationwide Insurance. She is an active volunteer with The Leadership Foundry, which was created by Women in Technology (WIT) to prepare executive women for positions as corporate board directors. Poorani holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Avinashilingam University and a Master of Arts in Workforce Development Education from The Ohio State University.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Susan Ehrlich as our newest Senior Advisor. Susan was most recently CEO of Earnest, and is immersed in fintech—as CFO at Simple, a consultant at Lending Club and General Manager for Amazon’s consumer credit programs globally. Prior to Amazon, Susan served as President of Financial Services at H&R Block and at Sears Holdings. She began her career in financial services at Citibank and has had leadership roles in developing and delivering payment and credit solutions for Providian, Wamu and JP Morgan Chase. She was recognized by “American Banker” magazine as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance three years in a row. She has served as Chairman of the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) in Chicago, IL and as a member of the Consumer Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU), the 3rd largest credit union in the U.S. Susan holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

We’re excited to welcome Poorani and Susan, whose skills and experience will enable us to help more clients successfully navigate the evolving regulatory environment and accelerate their growth.
