Klaros Group Team Expands

Our outstanding team of advisory professionals is getting bigger and stronger by the month. Today, I’m excited to announce a handful of terrific new additions:

Lauren Sartwell

Lauren Sartwell, Director

Lauren joined Klaros from Intuit Inc. where she oversaw product compliance and consumer protection for several of Intuit’s regulated financial services products. In her time there, Lauren worked closely with business partners and stakeholders to assess risks, define compliance requirements, and implement controls for the launch of new and innovative consumer and small business offerings, including several partner-based products. Before making the leap to fintech, Lauren built her career at community, regional, and large financial institutions in a range of compliance and internal audit roles, building compliance audit functions, coordinating and responding to state and Federal examinations, and conducting second line compliance testing. Lauren received her BAs in English and Political Science from Iowa State University and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager.

Dat Tran and Siena Marr, Associates, and Johanne Laurberg, Analyst

Dat, Siena, and Johanne support Klaros' operations and advisory portfolio by performing a mix of qualitative and quantitative economic and regulatory research, data analysis, and data visualization.

Dat Tran

Dat joins us from Green Dot Corporation, where he was deeply involved in the customer complaint management program, liaising with federal regulators and working on a wide range of compliance issues. Dat received his B.A. in History from California State University, Fullerton, and his M.A. in History from California State University, Northridge, where he graduated with honors.

Siena Marr

Siena most recently served as a consultant for FactSet Research Systems where she supported the research and reporting needs of her investment management clients and delivered integrated data solutions. Siena received her B.A. in Economics from Reed College with a concentration in Environmental Studies.

Johanne Laurberg

Johanne formerly worked as a Legal Analyst at the Rubin Law Corporation, an employment law firm in Los Angeles, and as a student teacher of economics in low-income schools during her college career. Johanne received her B.A. in International Relations from USC, with a minor in International Political Economy and emphasis in Chinese Studies.

As the regulatory environment and the fintech sector continue to evolve, we see a lot of opportunity ahead for the kind of firm we are building: a firm of deeply knowledgeable professionals focused on the future of financial services, and committed to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and client service. We’re always interested in meeting potential additions to our team, so if Klaros sounds like a firm you’d like to be a part of, drop us a note at hello@klaros.com.
