Fiachre O'Neill is a seasoned global executive and board member with over three decades of experience in finance, risk management, compliance, and governance across fintech, banking, and technology sectors. 

 

His focus is on enabling companies to scale responsibly, strengthen oversight, and navigate complexity at the intersection of regulation, technology, and growth. 

 

Most recently, he served as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at PayPal, where he transformed and led the consolidated risk management function, overseeing all key functions, including AI, cybersecurity, and information security, while chairing the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. Earlier in his career, Fiachre held leadership roles at eBay (pre-Paypal spin-off), Oracle, Anglo Irish, and HJ Heinz, where he gained deep expertise in mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory compliance in complex, cross-border environments. 

 

Fiachre currently serves on the boards of CurrencyFair and CFZ Holdings and has previously held board positions with numerous private and non-profit organizations. He holds NACD Director Certification.
