Christina Hunt-Fuhr focuses on bank acquisitions, enforcement action compliance, enterprise and third party risk management, and consumer compliance.

 

Christina joined Klaros from Green Dot Corporation, where she led the company’s compliance and regulatory affairs functions for almost a decade as the company transformed from a relatively simple provider of general purpose reloadable prepaid debit cards to a leading provider of banking as a service. In her Green Dot role, Christina performed due diligence on potential bank acquisition targets, was instrumental in the company’s successful application to acquire a bank, and prepared the company for numerous regulatory examinations and other supervisory activities. Before joining Green Dot, Christina led regulatory risk management and regulatory relations functions for Capital Source Bank and IndyMac Bancorp, respectively. Over the course of her career, Christina has led the development, adoption and implementation of numerous programs and policies to manage risks, clarify roles and responsibilities, and establish clear expectations for employee and organizational performance. Christina started her career at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where she rose to become a senior bank examiner, acted as a subject matter expert on new bank investigations, participated in Shared National Credit reviews, and oversaw supervision of numerous banks.

 

Christina received her BA in Economics with a Business Emphasis from the University of California, Los Angeles.
